Only You

can preserve the character of Northwest Fort Collins.

Without your help

212 homes, 425 parking spaces and 3 story row houses will be built on land that the City could have purchased and included in the Puente Verde open space corridor.

We just keep winning as the city realizes their own rules and the voice of people who live here matter as much as the profits of out of state developers. We still need your support for legal expenses to continue this important fight!

Our Organization

The Sanctuary Field Neighborhood Network, Inc. (SFNN) is a non-profit organization conceived in 2018 by a grassroots group of over 150 concerned individuals to oppose the “Sanctuary on the Green” development planned at the corner of North Taft Hill Rd and Laporte Ave in Fort Collins, Co.

In our effort to push back against development that is incompatible with the Northwest Subarea Plan, part of the City and County's own Master Plan, we have achieved several victories already. However, there is much left to do!

Donate to preserve this vision of Northwest Fort Collins

Our lawsuit seeks to hold the City of Fort Collins accountable to follow its own rules. We're insisting they provide due process to the community and adhere to the City's own planning documents and policies. We hope the lawsuit will result in responsible development that is compatible with the surrounding single-family homes, small farms and open space, as the Northwest Subarea Plan requires of any new development in its guidelines and vision for this area.
